London: Lovelace actress Amanda Seyfried says she wants to play American politician Hillary Clinton and singer Eva Cassidy.
The 27 year old actress, who portrays former porn star Linda Lovelace in Lovelace, said she has another biopic on her mind, reportedContactmusic.
“I’d like to play Eva Cassidy, I’d like to play Hillary Clinton,” she said.
The life story of Cassidy who died at the age of 33 due to melanoma amazes theJennifer’s Body star.
“Eva has an amazing story and then she was gone. She has this whole catalogue of music, she’s amazing. It’s tragic. I love singing too, I love her music and I would love to play her. That would be fun.”
Few weeks back, The New York Times had reported that Fox Television Studios, the sister company of Fox News, could produce the series about the life of the former secretary of state and presumed 2016 Democratic presidential candidate.
Fox Television Studios spokeswoman Leslie Oren had confirmed that NBC is in “the early stages” of talks to have Fox produce and distribute the film internationally. However, then it was decided that Academy Award nominee Diane Lane would star as Clinton. But Oren had also said, “There is no deal yet.”
